The Climbing Technology Eye Sharp are pitons galvanized, unhardened steel V-tip. They are suitable for soft rock (such as limestone) and vertical columns. The Eye Sharp pitons deform to conform to the crevice into which they are inserted. Moreover eyehooks are provided with depressions which facilitate the positioning of the carabiner. The Eye Sharp 12 and 14 cm available in lengths. The 12 cm version is suitable only as locomotion hooks, 14 cm version can be used as normal hook.
